about-me

My name is Abbas  Khosrobaigy. I was born in 1968 in the Susanabad of Arak (Central Province, Iran). I helped my father with his agricultural work during the summers. In February 1979, I was a fifth-grade elementary school student. To continue my education, I went to Arak and to my grandfather’s house.  We have been living in Arak since 1984.  After receiving a diploma in mathematics and physics from  High School, I was accepted into the Isfahan University of Technology, majoring in electrical and power engineering, and began studying in September 1986. After completing 73 credits from the power engineering field, I changed my major to computer hardware and obtained my bachelor’s degree in February 1993. I got married in September 1992 and have 2 sons.

Since September 1993, I have been studying for a master’s degree (computer engineering – computer architecture) at the Iran University of Science and Technology.

My master’s thesis (A survey & proposal for establishing SECURITY in computer Systems) was a research project, the main part of which is to present a new method for Encryption by combining the RSQ and PRSQ methods. The security created in this method is greater than the DES method, and the hardware required to implement this method is designed in such a way that it can be used as a basic circuit to create more security in encryption systems. The hardware circuit built for this purpose was also presented as a printed circuit board in the defense session. This hardware is more efficient and available to the market at a cheaper price than other hardware for this purpose, and it can be installed and used as a hardware card in personal computers.

At the end of my master’s degree, I presented two papers, one of which (A method for securing computer systems by combining RSQ and PRSQ methods) was accepted at the Fifth Iranian Electrical Engineering Conference (Sharif University of Technology – April 1997) and published in a collection of papers.

After graduating from my master’s degree, I started working at Arak Petrochemical Company, Computer department.

In addition to studying for my master’s degree and working in the oil industry, I have collaborated with various universities. The courses I have taught include: Computer Fundamentals (various Field of study) – Computer Architecture – Logic Circuits – Computer Architecture Laboratory – Logic Circuits Laboratory – Computer Networks – Information Networks – Operating Systems – Principles of Supervision – System Analysis and Design – Documentation – Advanced Architecture – Internet Engineering – ICT Applications – Electronic Services, etc.

I became more familiar with the Internet at the Markazy Province Gas Company. As the first provincial gas company, we used the Internet to exchange subscriber information, and other companies followed suit. In this regard, I presented the article “Using the Internet as a Work Tool in the Markazy Province Gas Company” at the First National Conference on Information Technology Management at the University of Isfahan.
